Industrial Sump Cleaners

Industrial Sump Cleaners

Clean process fluids are the lifeblood of any industrial operation. Our high-suction sump cleaners and sludge vacuums make it easy to remove all the collected industrial fluids—coolants, metalworking fluids, and cutting fluids—and solid waste from your reservoirs, tank sumps, and pits. Regular hassle-free sump cleaning improves industrial and metalworking processes, lowers costs, and prevents contamination and quality-control problems before they start.

We offer a variety of sump cleaner configurations:

  • Liquified petroleum gas, electric, or air operated
  • Capacities ranging from 50 to 1,000 gallons
  • Single and twin tank units with capacities of up to 500 gallons each

All sump cleaner pumps come “ready-to-run”: standard self-contained mobile configurations (“push-around” pumps with center-mounted wheels), complete with suction and discharge hoses.

Trucent Industrial Sump CleanersUsing the Right Tool to do the Right Job

Trucent is about more than selling equipment. We’re dedicated to a process-oriented approach to fluid filtration and separation. Our teams bring together equipment experts and engineers, people with decades of experience in manufacturing, and people who’ve dedicated their lives to doing groundbreaking fundamental research into fluid separation. We work with you to find the right intervention, use the right technology, and match it to the proper application.

And we can go one step further: We can connect you with your own dedicated Trucent team. This team can regularly be in your plant, managing all your fluids and filtration technology, handling fluid purchases, monitoring, maintenance, and disposal. They’ll pinpoint contaminants at their source and find ways to separate these contaminants from your flow as early as possible.

The results: Top performance in your plant, every single day, hassle-free. No one else offers this level of comprehensive fluid separation service.

Every solution begins with a conversation. Contact us today to start that conversation and find a better way to keep your sumps clear and your process fluids flowing.

Gas Driven Sump Cleaners

Trucent’s LP (liquified petroleum) gas-powered sump cleaner has a cast iron 3MP positive displacement blower coupled to a 25 HP electric start LP gas engine. It generates 12–15″ HG vacuum power with suction rates up to 100 GPM, and can grab chips, sludge, grinding swarf, etc. The discharge pressure of 5–7 PSI for discharge rates up to 40 GPM.

Electric Sump Cleaners

Trucent offers both 120-volt Single-Phase and 3-Phase electric sump cleaners. Our 120-volt single-phase sump cleaners have a 120-volt 3-phase motor assembly that generates a 10″ HG vacuum with suction rates up to 85 GPM. Our 3-phase units have cast-iron 3 MP positive displacement blowers, coupled to a 5 HP motor. This generates 12–15″ HG vacuum power with suction rates up to 100 GPM, picking up chips sludge, grinding swarf, and other solids, with a discharge pressure of 5–7 PSI for discharge rates up to 40 GPM.

Metalworking Fluid Purification and Reclaimation

View Case Study

Metalworking Reclaim Saves $400,000 Annually

Problem

A transmission component supplier had dozens of independent machine tools, each with its own sump. Their existing filtration system was unable to maintain appropriate purity specs, forcing them to frequently “top off” their metalworking fluids. This approach overwhelmed the sumps, sending perfectly good metalworking fluid down the drain.

Solution

A Trucent team introduced a new approach to fluid management that included reengineering the customer’s centralized purification system. This approach reduced their coolant concentrate usage by 60%. Consequently, the customer documented decreases in waste treatment costs and water usage. In just four months they saved $30,000 in tooling costs.
