At the FEW, Trucent will unveil CORE™, a new technology to significantly reduce impurities in DCO, resulting in a cleaner oil, TruDCO™, which can be sold directly to renewable diesel refineries. A full-scale demonstration unit of CORE™ has been in operation for months at an ethanol customer site and is consistently producing TruDCO™ for direct sale to renewable diesel refineries at a premium above crude DCO.
Trucent already has an established track record for helping ethanol plants recover more DCO from their existing operation. Trucent’s current solutions include:
- TruShield-SC—a stand-alone, ethanol-specific syrup conditioning device that works with any model centrifuge, protecting the separator while reducing syrup viscosity to increase DCO yield
