Vacuum Dehydrator Oil Purification Systems

Vacuum Dehydrator

Water is hurting your operations and driving up costs

Water is the most common source of contamination in oil-based process fluids. Free water and emulsified water aren’t just detrimental to your machine oil, lube, and hydraulic fluid performance—they lead to excess wear and maintenance. Water contamination also decreases the working life of your oil-based coolants and lubrication. That means frequent dumps and charges, increased waste disposal fees, and more downtime.

Trucent’s Vacuum Dehydrators pull water from your fluids, leaving the process oil intact. These vacuum dehydrator systems also filter light hydrocarbons and solid contamination. The process is simple and poses no risk to your lube, oil, or coolant.

Vacuum Dehydrator Industrial

Once the fluid reaches a suitable operating temperature, atmospheric pressure forces it into a vacuum chamber. Water (free, emulsified, and dissolved), fuel dilution products, dissolved air and gases, and other low-range volatiles convert to a gaseous vapor. The oil/lube/coolant (now purified and conditioned to a safe operating standard) returns to your process. Meanwhile, a cooling device condenses the gaseous vaporized contaminants into a separate vessel and automatically ejects them to waste.

The vacuum dehydration unit is nearly perfectly efficient—bringing water-based contamination down virtually to zero. But your additives and detergents are retained in the process fluid, so they can continue to serve their original purposes, and your flow rate is maintained.

Trucent’s Vacuum Dehydrator is designed to work with:

  • Lubrication Oils
  • Hydraulic Oils
  • Turbine Oils
  • Compressor Seal Oils
  • Synthetic Fluids
  • Insulating Oils
  • Quenching Oils
  • Gear Oil
  • Cutting Oil
  • Cooling Mineral Oils

The Trucent Difference: Using the Right Tool to Do the Right Job

We dedicate ourselves to a process-oriented approach to liquid-liquid and liquid-liquid-solid separation. This approach has meant spending decades building teams with broad experience in filter elements, non-disposable media filtration, vacuum dehydration, industrial applications, and the fundamentals of oil separation and purification. Our team will work with you to find the right intervention, use the right technology, and match it to the proper application.

Trucent Industrial Dehydrator and Purifier

And we can go one step further. We can install a team in your plant to run and manage all your fluids and purification technology on a daily basis. Your in-house Trucent team will do more than just handle fluid purchases, monitor those fluids, and maintain them at appropriate levels and concentrations. They’ll pinpoint contamination at the source, minimize or remove failure mechanisms, address water ingression in your process, and find ways to separate dissolved gas, emulsified water, and particulate from your flow as early as possible.

The results: Top performance in your plant, every single day, hassle-free. No one else can address water ingression this comprehensively.

Every solution begins with a conversation. Contact us today to start that conversation and find a better way to remove contaminants from your process fluids with vacuum dehydration.
